Our Story
Mr. Hitesh Dhruv, Founder and CEO of MTC Toys, started off his career in Kolkata. An avid solo traveller, travelling to various places & cities across India. With an average of 10-12 days monthly travel, he started connecting with diverse people across India covering almost 55% of the distinct land and learning from them thus gaining immense knowledge in the business of Toys. That is when the proprietorship started in the year 1997. In 2005, later on with the support of his family and brother, Mr. Ajay Dhruv, MTC Toys came into existence as a Private Limited Company.
After a struggle of 6-7 initial years, Mr. Hitesh Dhruv established MTC Toys company in Mumbai in 2009.
The initial company, Mahavir IMPEX started trading Faux Fur and High Pile Fabric in 1995 which is used in garments and soft toys (skin). During that time, the company was Number One importer from 1995 to 2005 in Faux Fur and High Pile Fabric.
When MTC Toys got established in the year 2009, it became the first and the number one importer of India in Soft Toys from 2009 to 2014.
With more than 23 years of trading in the field of fur, garments and soft toys as well as plastic toys, today MTC Toys Private Limited deals with 300+ wholesale dealers, supplying to Maharashtra, Gujarat, Ludhiana, Delhi, Kolkata, Varanasi, Siliguri, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, specially having a strong hold in South India. The sourcing of these imports is from China, Malaysia, Thailand, Taiwan, South Korea, Vietnam.
Achievements
First and the largest importer of India in the Faux Fur and High Pile Fabric from the year 1995 to 2007.
Mr. Hitesh Dhruv was the first one to bring the imports of Faux Fur and High Pile and the company has been recognized as the number one importer of soft toys (skin) in India from 2009 to 2014.
